The Neglected Garden in Flower

There are daisies and irises.

There is pink may,

There are velvety clematis buds,

There's heady-scented mock orange blossom,

and lingering longer this year, with regular rainfall,
are the forget-me-nots by my doorstep.

Lovely ... puts some Spring in my otherwise grey overcast lightly snow covered morning. Thank you for sharing your Colour and Beauty.

Neglect has a lot going for it. Absolutely beautiful.

Cindy@NW: Yes the seasons move on and it's the Southern Hemisphere's turn to remind the Winter bound Northern Hemisphere that there will always be a Spring. :-)

Rusty Duck: I reckon!

The plants don't look neglected they look gorgeous.

Susan Heather: Thank you - they don't really need me do they.

John Gray: But it sounds like you do. Maybe we should make a pact with a forfeit included if either of us gives up blogging...

Maybe I should neglect my garden a bit more. I DO have a Mock-Orange.

Cro: I'm sure I've seen a photo of it on your blog. I do think you get the balance of artful rambliness just right with your plantings.

Well that garden looks just lovely...I could imagine sitting there with a picnic and feeling very calm and happy.....looking out at my green and grey back garden just makes me sigh at the moment.

Libby: It is a very calm and happy space, but you wouldn't believe it; today I might as well have been in your season. Cold, damp, blowsy spatters of rain - very appropriate for Bonfire Night.
