There are velvety clematis buds,
and old world honeysuckle twining with New Zealand's forest bridal veil.
There's heady-scented mock orange blossom,
and lingering longer this year, with regular rainfall,
are the forget-me-nots by my doorstep.

Cindy@NW: Yes the seasons move on and it's the Southern Hemisphere's turn to remind the Winter bound Northern Hemisphere that there will always be a Spring. :-)

Well that garden looks just lovely...I could imagine sitting there with a picnic and feeling very calm and happy.....looking out at my green and grey back garden just makes me sigh at the moment.
Libby: It is a very calm and happy space, but you wouldn't believe it; today I might as well have been in your season. Cold, damp, blowsy spatters of rain - very appropriate for Bonfire Night.
