A Time of Passing

Jonquils from her garden,

feet upon her street,

a final passage to

the church at the end of her life.

My beautiful, flawed and darling mother -

So sorry, and sorry for being so crap on the phone. I was so sure I'd misheard you the first time. Our thoughts are with you.

Gill: Thank you - hope the sound system found it's way back to school okay.

Steve: You know, talking to you on the phone was a bonus that day. We didn't put a notice in the Birmingham Post in the end - a bit too pricey from our end.

Dyk Jewell: Thanks Dyk and Family. The funeral was small and lovely.

She looks like she was a real character, your Ma, what a lovely pic of her. So sorry about her passing. My Ma is 83 now and my kids think she's immortal. Sadly, that's not the case.

Nana Go-Go: Yep, she was a character alright. Hope you have many more years yet with your mother.
